I've been working and living in central London for 2 years now, and I've only just started going on holidays... well long weekend getaways really... and one of the things that I've been looking for is sustainable swimwear.
"Using the finest quality of Vita fabric, made in Italy, in a variety of styles, colours and prints. Including bikinis and one piece swimwear. With our customers in mind, Menesthò invested into developing unique patterns for a long torso one piece swimwear. The product features a special main body and adjusted to suit those who do not want a cramped feeling when wearing their favourite one piece.
All our materials are sourced from Europe and our production is solely based in London in order to decrease our carbon footprint and ensure higher standards of employability for all people involved in the sector. Furthermore, with our values of sustainable production in mind, we designed an efficient line that brings fabric waste to zero."
I absolutely love this bikini, and I'm not normally a bikini person! The high rise bottoms are super comfy, and help hide my love-handles.
The top is simply stunning. I've never seen a design quite like it, which is what took my eye when I saw it hanging in a pop-up store in London.
I put it to the test while at a spa recently and it stood up to all the different pools, hot tub, sauna and steam room.
Overal, I'm really happy with the bikini. It was reasonably priced (but obviously not as cheap as the high street) but the quality is second to none, and it is super sustainable too!
